This custom boat was built by Egg Harbor for the personal use of its owner in 1983. Its heavy construction, high freeboard and hull design make it an amazingly sea worthy vessel. It has just completed its second refit in five years. The old tower (I was tired of opening bridges) was removed and a new tower with canvas top was custom fabricated to give shade to the pilot, while still leaving ample room for fishing. With the new tower it can be transported by trailer.

It has been repowered with a new Yanmar 4LH turbo charged fresh water-cooled diesel. Less than 150 hours on the new engine. Oversized Racor filter and bronze seawater filter complete the professional installation. New hydraulic steering and hydraulic trim tabs.

During the two refits every thru hull fitting, wire, switch, pump, and gauge was replaced. Fresh paint and new rub rails make her look like new.

Two new batteries, three new bilge pumps, salt-water wash down, and chemical head were added.

A new color Garmin color sounder/GPS and VHF radio were installed. A custom teak swim platform with ladder adds to the family fun.

Carries about 80 gallons of diesel fuel in two tanks. Consumes 4-6 gallons per hour in usual use. Cruises all day at 18 knots.

The cosmetic refit is 90% complete. Forced to sell.
